so we've had a total of 3 meets so far this outdoor season oak forest was my 1st meet back, and of course it was pouring. I hate this weather!

this meet was huge! i guess only like 20 people signed up to jump ahead of time and the day of the meet 40 people showed up. they ran the meet high bar low bar and it took forever. i was there for 8 hours...i'm not even exaggerating : ( I warmed up 3 times lol needless to say it wasnt my best perfor...

I'm hoping this will be a big year for me. This past summer I jumped 13'2 so I'm hoping to be jumping at least 14 this year : )

Hey! Well Tim Johnson (Jan's bro) is my coach and he always tells us to do twice our height when moving back our approach, just like Air Force said. Whatever you do, I'd stay away from the whole running back thing...it's not very accurate. 2x my height has always worked for me.

I'm too excited to be going to Reno for the first time this year! I don't really think any one from around here is going so I'm looking forward to meeting tons of new people! I can't wait!
