this some of my fault. I guess i should explain more..middle of the pit is where you want. 15'6 with standards at 18 landing in middle of pit? Yes i heard of early risers...i can swing up at that just as well...but thats if im holding high and not alot of speed. Not to brag but i do have a great swi...

well

well if you don't have your standard almost all the way back you are not penetrating through the pole you must do that...then the rocking of your sholders will happen your trail legs stretches back creating a C looking form with your body and it snaps back and you swing up...18 '' is way to close......

you guys need to stop and understand

i would never brag..it was for to tell people what happens and i wish pits were so much less money and schools buy bigger pits when you get on a pole and you blow through it and it launches you... i jump 12'6 capping a 13 foot pole..and i am skimming over 13 right now

No crap..i did move up to a heavy pole..but that tells you something that i wish pits would cost less so schools would by bigger pits.

work on

abs and hamstrings..thats your jumping muscle...hip flexors for speed....mosty incline benching pressing..and leg work outs and run and run to build speed

Can anyone give me names for good PVing schools in PA

im in 10th grade.. ha i'm looking ahead.. i would love to go to PSU my coach knows them super well and PSU doesn't have a full time coach but there facility is getting way better... SRU has great PV camps..and i know a kid personally who goes there and he said jumping there isn't like jumping there ...

Tips..

No matter what you always want your standard deep.. if you are getting high with stands 25 or closer you in danger and you actually have a crappy vault.. yes your vaulting is very crappy and its dangerous.. work on speed.. overall to get high you must have speed..then comes technique and training......

Almost cleared the pits at PSU

Ha Thursday i almost cleared PSU's pits at my indoor meet :eek: . My coach Rob Whaul said psu has close to the largest pit you can get..and i hit the back edge and bounced off :devil: .. Haha. My standards are at 30 and they are not comming up...atleast i land deep in the pit :P

oh come guys.....

a good vault for a 9th grader is 10'6... but thats around where i live. The junior high distric qualifing is 8'6.. high school is 10ft..from where i live. And state qualifing is 13ft. I jumped 11'9 in 9th grade..i was ranked 1st in the distric :P . But keep on trying. You want to spend more time off...
