I long jump and polevault!!! they are the most fun events in track!! but yeah long jump puts a whole bunch of stress on the inner ankle of my plant foot :-\

i would still do track cause i am all around a decent runner....not great at anythng but decent at every distance....like 100-11.3, 200- 24.4, 400-54.7, 800- 2:07, 1600-4:49, 3200-screw that!! its to much to run on the track...i also long jump very well and high jump decnt...but i hate it!! and my c...

most meets i start where ever i feel comfortable after i do my warm ups....some meets i start a foot less then my pr and others i start at or 6" lower.....always works out for me :-D

I know how much it sux to not be able to vault for a while....last year at conference i partially tore my left quad.....i still tried to vault at regionals the week after but i didnt do very well and i was not able to vault or run for like a month......so just let your injury heal even though its pr...

lol i am just that unlucky guy who is ok at every distance but i am not really great at anything.......my 800 is like 2:05 my mile is 4:55 my 400 is 55.......see wat i mean lol decent but not good and coach makes me train for all of it, so i have my work cut out for me

lol i do the same thing when ever we drivew under a street sign, especially on the way to a meet. Hey coach look that one says 15'. you think i will clear that today? and then the coach drops to the floor laughing like crazy lol....but yea i look at the street signs all the time.

weigh the same thing and usually jump on a 13'6" 160 or a 14' 160, and i sometimes use a 14' 165 when i am feeling good lol...... just try to find something near your weight prob bout 14'

really? that doesnt seem to smart to me!! wouldnt it make more sense for them to make a unviversal way of measuring flex#s and all of them use it. dang that blows

i have kinda had the same prob when i get tired, except i get up in the air and i get thrown way to the right (off of the mat last week), but i think that maybe just trying to do some simple 3 step pop up drills might help you get over it. Just do it over and over and over again until it seems impos...
