I have a teammate that listens to classical music or opera before meets. I enjoy that kind of music as well but not before I'm about to jump! It's wierd but I guess it works for him.

Trabuco Hills

Has anyone here jumped at Trabuco Hills before? If so could you tell me about the set up such as wind direction and runway specifics? I am curious becuase I have to jump there on saturday. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Our pit used to be good but last year they cut down a bunch of orange groves around our school to build houses and thats when the wind sarted to pick up. I like standing on a scafolding or any other raised surface in front of the pit and planting my pole in the box. Then jumping off and practicing my invert into the pit. It is not real hard but it's fun. Rope vaulting is also awesome.

I took a piece of broken pole (about 6'' to 1 foot) and stuck a screw driver in it that fit perfectly. The screw driver goes in the ground and the pole sticks up to mark my step. I love it.
