I started cause it looked like fun, and after I tried it I fell in love with it. My brother also vaulted and encouraged me to start but the reason why I kept vaulting is because of how fun it was.

I'm just curious how many of you guys have been injured or are injured from vaulting. Right now I've got two stress fractures and people tell me that I'm crazy to still be vaulting. (Technically I shouldn't be hey who's gonna stop me, it's my senior year with three meets left.)

I really need help inverting. I've only ever cleared 6.6 but I want to get to 7.6 by this Friday. There's only three more meets left, and it's my last year. Any advice would help. Also do you think I should start using a bigger pole, mine is not very long at all, I thinks it 12 ft max.

Here's one I just thought of. The happiest moment in my life was when I had a pole in my hand. No I'm not a whore...I am a pole vaulter!

I would do a couple just getting used to the pole, and then do fulls to get your timing down. Good luck at state.
