Great event by the folks at Gill. The runway was FAST, and the environment was awesome! Can't wait to get back next year. Much thanks to Gill for putting on an awesome meet.

i have the song on my computer titled "la fortuna", i have no idea whether or not thats the real title, but i have the song and its ill. i first heard it at the beginning of forum snowboards video The Resistance. i get so pumped listening to it.

first how many steps are you running from? you may be running from more than you can handle. you also dont need to be running full speed the whole way down the runway. you want to achieve maximum controlable speed at take off. so you only need to run as far as it takes to reach that max. controlable...

somebody just took over for ann at brown, if hoogie is still around then holy cross, there are a few others, but brenner at northeastern is great and i think nate took over vault coaching at mit since brad left, not sure about that though.

you will need a stiffer pole like most people on here said, but for other reasons...the reason the pole you were on in the video wasnt giving you anything back is because of the arm pull mid jump which is also why you fell out of the vault early. by pulling like that you are raising your center of g...

in addition to what you've heard so far, i would say to work on getting your feet down more quickly in the last three steps before take-off to allow you to convert more of your horizontal momentum to vertical.

regarding the last three posts, i couldnt have said it better. Im jsut proud to be part of a program with such history. all of the resources needed to succeed and perform at the highest level are available. the top ten list says it all.
